Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf soft French bread, cut widthwise
  • 2 cups blue cheese dressing, plus more for garnish
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 ounces John Soules Foods Blackened Chicken Strips, refrigerated or thawed
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4-5 fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced for garnish

Instructions

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place baguette halves, cut-side-up, on prepared baking sheet. Spread blue cheese dressing evenly over baguette halves. Top with sliced tomatoes and chicken. Sprinkle with mozzarella.
  2. Bake until chicken is fully heated through, about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Cut French bread pizzas into slices. Drizzle with additional blue cheese dressing. Garnish with basil leaves and serve.

Tip: To reduce fat, substitute blue cheese dressing with a low-fat or fat-free blue cheese dressing.

Tip: Alternately, substitute blue cheese dressing with marinara sauce. Top with Blackened Chicken Strips and blue cheese crumbles!
